Andy Stanley is the senior pastor of North Point Community Church, Buckhead Church, Watermark Church, Gwinnett Church and Browns Bridge Community Church. He also founded North Point Ministries, which is a worldwide Christian organization.
Andy received a bachelor’s degree of journalism from Georgia State University and later earned a masters degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. After working for several years as Associate Pastor and Minister to Students at First Baptist Church of Atlanta, he and five others founded North Point Community Church in 1995. The church has now grown to three campuses and over 40,000+ attenders each week. North Point Ministries has also helped plant nearly 20 strategic partner churches in the US and Canada.
Andy now lives in Alpharetta, Georgia with his wife, Sandra, and his three children: Andrew, Garrett, and Alli.

Bob Goff is the founder and president of Restore International, a non-profit organization established to address the atrocities and injustices committed against children. With a passion and vision for finding audacious ways to restore justice to children and the poorest of the poor, Restore’s mission is to make a difference on behalf of those who do not otherwise have a voice. Bob’s inspiration has been fueled by the friendships he has developed with others around the world who desire to pursue strategic ways to help people in need. Bob is also an adjunct professor at Point Nazarene University in San Diego, and he has recently released his first book, Love Does.
Brad is lead visionary and president of Catalyst, one of America’s largest movements of young Christian leaders—gathering hundreds of thousands of leaders through experiential conferences across the United States over the last 13 years. Brad has had the privilege of interviewing dozens of the world’s leading thinkers—including Malcolm Gladwell, Seth Godin, Rick Warren, Jack Dorsey, and Dave Ramsey—through the Catalyst Podcast, which is available at catalystpodcast.com. He serves on the boards for Suffered Enough, the A21 Campaign, Red Eye Inc., and Praxis. Brad holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
Brian White is a southern California native and a long-time executive at the Walt Disney Company. Brian is a member of Discovery Church in Simi Valley, California, where he serves as an elder and is active in the men’s Bible study, worship arts, and guest services ministries. Brian and his wife, Tina, will be celebrating ten incredible years of marriage this July.

Charles is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education, and he is a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where he earned his Master of Arts in Religion. For the last ten years, he has served as the senior pastor of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church near Chicago, Illinois.
In addition to authoring, Thriving in Change, Charles is also a Grammy award-winning songwriter. He is married to Dr. Tara Rawls-Jenkins and has two daughters, Princess and Paris, and one son, Charles Jenkins III.
Doug has been a respected youth ministry leader for over two decades. He blogs at www.dougfields.com and has authored & co-authored more than books, including Purpose-Driven Youth Ministry and Help! I’m a Student Leader. With a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, Doug is part of the leadership team at both HomeWord Center for Youth/Family and Youth Specialties. He’ll be joining the Orange Conference for his fourth year, and we look forward to hearing more from his insightful and experienced wisdom.
Jeff Shinabarger is a social entrepreneur, experience designer, cofounder of the Q event, and creative director at Catalyst. He is also the founder of GiftCardGiver.com and Plywood People, an innovative community addressing social needs through creative projects. And author of the forth-coming book More or Less: Choosing a Lifestyle of Excessive Generosity. He and his family live in Atlanta, Georgia.
Since 2007, Jon has spent the last three years exploring what it means to take ideas to unexpected places. Called “hilarious and insightful” by Group Magazine and featured as a regular contributor on CNN.com, Jon has a wealth of ideas to share with anyone from dairy farmers to CEOs of billion-dollar companies. With several books under his belt, conference keynotes throughout the year, and one of the most popular blogs in the world, he’s just getting started. Jon’s most recent book, “Start: Punch Fear in the Face, Escape Average and Do Work that Matters,” will be released in April, 2013.
Dr. Kara Powell serves as an assistant professor in youth and family ministry and the executive director of the Fuller Youth Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in practical theology from Fuller Seminary as well as a B.A. in human biology from Stanford University. Kara serves as a small group leader for high school girls at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena, California. In the Fall of 2011, Kara’s latest book will be released, Sticky Faith, as well as a companion curriculum for leaders, parents and students. Kara lives in Pasadena, California, with her husband, Dave, and their three children.
Ken is the author of One Question: Life Changing Answers from Today’s Leading Voices, releasing in April 2013 from Simon & Schuster, and the talk radio host of The Ken Coleman Show. Perry Noble is the founding and senior pastor of NewSpring Church, which has campuses in Anderson, Columbia, Florence, and Greenville, South Carolina. At eleven years old, the church averages over 10,000 people across all campuses. Perry is a gifted communicator and teacher, convicted about speaking the truth as plainly as possible. God has given him a vision and a passion for helping people meet Jesus, and each week he shares God’s Word and its practical application in our daily lives. Perry, his wife, Lucretia and their daughter, Charisse, live in Anderson, South Carolina.
Reggie is the founder of Orange, a nonprofit organization providing resources and training to help churches maximize their influence on the spiritual growth of the next generation. He is also one of the founding pastors of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. In his role as the executive director of Family Ministry, Reggie led a team to develop the concepts of ministry for preschoolers, children, students, and married adults over the course of his 11 years with the church. He is the author of Think Orange and co-author of Seven Practices of Effective Ministries. His latest books include Parenting Beyond Your Capacity, Slow Fade, Lead Small and Zombies, Football and the Gospel. Reggie and his wife, Debbie, live in Cumming, Georgia, and have four grown children.
Sherry serves as the CEO of Mothers of Preschoolers International (MOPS), where her passion for moms and helping women reach their leadership potential shines through. She joined MOPS from an extensive background in ministry, most recently helping pastors and church leaders with fresh thinking through Innovation Labs at Leadership Network. Prior to this she served as Central Support Pastor and Children’s Ministry Pastor for the 13 campuses of Seacoast Church in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. She has two wonderful children, Mike and Brittany, a beautiful daughter in law Hilary, and a most brilliant granddaughter Maggie Claire.

Sue Miller is a leader, author, and gifted communicator. She joined Orange in 2005 after 17 years of leading Promiseland at Willow Creek Community Church. Sue was instrumental in leading the change process that grew Promiseland into a cutting edge ministry known around the world. The story of this journey is told in her book, Making Your Children’s Ministry the Best Hour of Every Kid’s Week.
At Orange, Sue travels extensively - feeding her passion to mentor leaders, inspire volunteers, and consult with churches that strive to partner with parents. Sue’s newest book, Parenting is Wonder-full, offers new parents a glimpse of what God can do through their story as they disciple their children.
Abbey has been Orange for a long time even before she joined the team at rethink as an Orange Specialist for 252 Basics. Abbey has worked in children’s ministry for 12 years, serving as children’s ministry director at her church for eight years, where she implemented both First Look and 252 Basics. After a move to the ATL, Abbey now enjoys all things Orange with her wonderful husband and two beautiful children!
Adam has been involved in family ministry for over a decade. He completed a Language Arts and Public Relations degree from the University of Toledo and then went directly into full time ministry in southeast Michigan. He is currently the minister to children and families at First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale in southern Florida. Adam relocated in November of 2008 from Michigan to help lead FBCFL through their Orange transition. In the summertime, you’ll find Adam hosting and teaching at Camp KidJam. He and his wife, Katelyn, spend their free time fueling their obsession with all things Disney.

Amy Fenton Lee
Amy is the Special Needs Consultant to The reThink Group. She is also the writer behind The Inclusive Church blog and has authored dozens of published articles on the subject of special needs inclusion in the church. In 2012 Amy served as the Special Needs Columnist to Children’s Ministry Magazine. She is a longtime children’s ministry volunteer and resides in Cumming, Georgia, with her husband and young son.
Amy has served for over 15 years in children’s and family ministry in both volunteer and staff capacities including implementing 252 Basics in two church plants over the last eight years. In her years in church plant situations, she has learned what it looks like to start a children’s ministry in “lean” environments with few volunteers and resources while still capturing the hearts and imaginations of the children. Amy and her husband, Powell, live in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with their two sons.

Andrea Goslee is the Director of River Kids at Rivers Crossing Community Church, a church plant in northern Cincinnati. She has been involved in church plants for more than 20 years, helping plant two additional churches in the Cincinnati area. She is passionate about partnering with parents to help kids become fully engaged followers of Christ. Andrea leads a gathering for leaders in local churches that meet to connect, share ideas and partner for events in hopes to “paint the city Orange.” She and her husband, Brian, live in Maineville, Ohio, with their two great teenagers, Jordan and Lauren.

Autumn has been married to Chad – her most favorite person in the whole wide world – for 17 years. They have three amazing children – Joseph (16), Sarah (14) and Anna (11). She is passionate about helping moms and dads become spiritual heroes to their children. Autumn has been serving in family ministry for the past 20 years. She is a writer for the First Look preschool curriculum and is a member of the First Look creative team.

Ben Crawshaw leads the student initiative (including XP3 Students curriculum) at the reThink Group. He graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, where he played baseball, studied English, and begged for food. Prior to working at reThink, Ben was the Creative Director of High School Ministry at North Point Community Church. Ben’s hobbies include living vicariously through college and professional athletes, watching non-horror movies, and eating Reese’s Pieces. He and his wife, Holly, love living in the ever-so-quaint town of Dahlonega, Georgia. They have two daughters, Lilah and Esmae, and an unruly cat named Cupcake.

Bobbi is the Kids Ministry Pastor at Bent Tree Bible Church in Carrollton, Texas. Her passion is to lead her staff and volunteer teams toward creating environments where kids, servants and families can flourish. After starting her career in ministry with Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago, she spent the last 15 years taking the leadership principals she learned and applying them to a small church children’s ministry in Michigan before landing in the heart of Texas! She and her husband, Paul, who is also a pastor at Bent Tree, have five children, the youngest two adopted from Rwanda, Africa.

Brian is a Lutheran Pastor at First English Lutheran Church in Richmond, Indiana. Over his 14 years of pastoral ministry, Brian has nurtured a passion for connecting church and home – which has recently expanded toward deeper connection with the community at large. Brian has teamed up with Leslie Bolser - youth & family minister at neighboring Central United Methodist Church - in utilizing the Core Essentials platform at the high school level, and partnering with United Way to use the common language of monthly values with families, schools, youth serving organizations and businesses in their community.

Britt has worked on the North Point middle school staff for ten years as the director of Buckhead Church Xtreme and currently as the Multi-Campus Creative Director. He loves managing the tension between the creative process and logistics of programming, and gets excited about helping students pursue a faith of their own in the middle school years. As a husband and dad of three he is proud of his ability to carry on conversations about football, monster trucks, and musicals.

Cara has a varied background in education and ministry. She enjoys learning and working alongside kids, adults and families. She is currently a researcher, writer and developer for many projects within Orange, including 252 Basics Groups director and YouLead. Cara and her husband, Kevin, have two kids and live in Flower Mound, Texas.
Carey is the lead pastor of Connexus Community Church, a growing multi-campus church north of Toronto and strategic partner of North Point Ministries. Prior to starting Connexus in 2007, Carey served for 12 years in a mainline church, transitioning three small congregations into a single growing congregation. He speaks globally to church leaders about change, leadership, and parenting. Carey is the author of Leading Change without Losing It and is the co-author of Parenting Beyond Your Capacity with Reggie Joiner. He and his wife Toni live near Barrie, Ontario and have two sons, Jordan and Sam. In his spare time, you can find him cycling his heart out on a back road somewhere.
Cass is a husband, daddy, and a Groups Director in Waumba Land at Buckhead Church, in Atlanta, Georgia. He’s a graduate of Georgia Southern University and Southeastern Seminary and is passionate about preschoolers and families, and partnering them with the church. Cass lives in Cumming, Georgia, and loves spending time with his beautiful wife, Mary Beth, and his four awesome boys.
Chad is the Elementary Director at Browns Bridge Community Church in Cumming, Georgia. Browns Bridge is a campus of North Point Ministries. He has the privilege of helping guide the hearts of 600 volunteers, as they impact families, on a weekly basis. He has been hands on in church planting for 12 years. During this time he has been a part of building a family ministry from the ground up and offers practical insight to those needing to know where to begin. Christine serves as the Family and Connections Pastor at Glad Tidings Church in Reading, Pennsylvania. She’s a published author of a children’s curriculum called “Follow 4:Kidz” and a CD/DVD resource, “Launching an FX: Tools to start a Family eXperience.” Christine has been the featured speaker for numerous local, regional, and statewide conferences. Her diverse life and business experiences have allowed her to connect with clients and audiences ranging from church leaders and volunteer teams to corporate executives. Chuck is the lead pastor and founder of Colossae Church in Portland, Oregon. He is also founder of two other organizations: CollegeLeader and iampeople.org. He has authored over a dozen small group resources and six books with the most recent being Better Off Without Jesus: Embracing the Promise of the Holy Spirit. When he is not traveling the country speaking at conferences or consulting with church or denominational leaders, he is home with his family, the place he loves to be more than any other. Chuck and his wife, Barbara, have three beautiful daughters: Karis, Hope and Sayla.
Craig is an author, leadership coach and communicator speaking to audiences and teams throughout the country on the topics of marriage, family, leadership and living lives of health and balance. In their most recent book, “From Hectic to Healthy: The Journey to a Balance Life”,” Craig, along with his wife Mary, share their story of a life lived out of balance and how they had to fight to find the right seasonal pace for their life and family. Craig also serves as president of Empowered Living a company that provides leadership and resources for parents, families, children and leaders.
Dan currently serves as the Director of Children’s Ministry Strategy at The reThink Group. He spends most of his time leading the creative team for 252Basics. Prior to coming on board at reThink, Dan served as the Elementary Children’s Director at Ada Bible Church. He loves all things kidmin and was recently named one of Children’s Ministry Magazines’ 20 leaders to watch. Dan and his wife, Jenna, live in Cumming, Georgia and have four amazing kids: Liam, Ellison, Addison, and Taye.
Dr. Darren Kizer is passionate about training family ministry leaders through his organization 1Semester which allows family ministry staff, interns, and volunteers to earn graduate credits. As the Executive Family Pastor at Parker Hill he leads staff and volunteer teams at three campuses. His journey has included milestones as a camp director, wilderness leadership director, and earning a Doctorate focused on volunteerism, family ministry, and leadership. He enjoys teaching organizational leadership courses for University of the Rockies and Pilgrimage Educational Resources. His life is fulfilled through time with his bride Becky, and teenagers, Brynn and Tucker.
Pastor David lives in New York City and has never been mugged or even shot! Seeing most of his friends walk away from God as he grew up in a small inner-city church, he remained committed to finding a better way to help kids build and sustain a solid relationship with Christ. David is the Director and Pastor of the Children’s Ministry at Christ Tabernacle Church in Queens, New York. He has been in full time ministry for the last 20 years along with his beautiful wife, Daphne and their two boys, DJ and Daniel.
Deb has worked in Early Childhood Education as a teacher, program manager, college instructor and consultant. She is currently an Orange Specialist for First Look and adjunct faculty member at Lanier Technical College. She enjoys life in Cumming, Georgia, with her husband, son, dog and cat. Her family actively participates at Browns Bridge Community Church and life in general.
Denise Briley is the director of Thru the Roof – the special needs ministry at Houston’s First Baptist Church. Her passion for serving families with special needs children grew out of her own experience as the parent of a son with disabilities and medical needs. Denise is the author of “Feathers from Heaven” the story of her son Clayton and how God used him to begin one of the first special needs ministries in the country. It’s also her journey though loss and grief after Clayton’s passing. Denise lives in Tomball, Texas with her husband Thad and has two grown children, Lauren and Dillon.

Diane has been ministering to children and families in many capacities for over 28 years. Diane has been the Children’s Director at Hanover First Church of God in Hanover, Pennsylvania since 2001 following 16 years of service as an educator and counselor in the public school system. Her passion is to connect with other leaders both in churches and in schools and has been a leader in a network for children and family ministry at Lancaster Bible College for several years. Diane and her husband, Todd, have been married for 28 years. They have two amazing teenagers, Kylie and Noah.
When you get Elizabeth talking about the ability to shift the culture in public schools and have churches help in that movement, you’ll see her eyes light up! As the director of Core Essential Values, Elizabeth oversees the strategy and resources that empower schools, families and communities to treat others right, make smart decisions, and maximize their potential. For the last three years, Elizabeth has directed the movement and led the expansion from elementary school curriculum to preschools, middle and high schools and after-school programs. She has four children – all now in their twenties (with three still in college!).
Elle works in middle school ministry with her husband, Kenny, at The Chapel in Buffalo, New York, where she oversees small groups and volunteer development. When Elle isn’t hanging out with middle school students and their small group leaders, she’s blogging and developing resources for Stuff You Can Use - a site she and Kenny developed to connect student and children’s ministry workers with super helpful, practical, and high-quality ideas and resources.
Gina is originally from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, she worked in International Banking before joining the staff of LifeChurch.tv in 1999 where she remained for over a decade. Currently, Gina is the Children’s Ministry Director at Faith Promise Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. Gina is driven by the idea of equipping parents for the journey of teaching their kids how to follow Christ. Based upon her experience as a mom, she identifies with the everyday challenges parents wade through. Gina and her husband, Kyle, have three kids, Keegan, Josie and Connor.

A native Alabamian, Heather Zempel currently leads the discipleship efforts at National Community Church in Washington, D.C., where she oversees small groups, directs leadership development training, and serves on the weekend teaching team. Heather put her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biological engineering to work as an environmental engineer and policy consultant on energy and environment in the United States Senate before going into full-time ministry. She and her husband, Ryan, live on Capitol Hill, and she is the author of Sacred Roads and Community is Messy.
James serves as the Director of International Programs for The 410 Bridge, an organization partnering churches in the U.S. with communities in developing nations to enable long-term, empowering, development. . James oversees the development and implementation of projects and programs that foster sustainable and transformational change in communities and churches around the globe. A former youth pastor and camp director, James has a passion to see the Church united and mobilized to bring the hope of Jesus to the world. Jamey is the director of the high school ministry at Buckhead Church in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to leading the high school staff and volunteers, he also speaks and writes for content for the five campuses of North Point Ministries. He graduated from the University of North Carolina where he founded 180 Ministries, a multi-campus movement inspiring thousands of students towards deeper worship and devotion. His greatest passion is to show students that knowing Jesus is the greatest thing on the planet and inspire them to live radically for Him. He and his wife Sara live in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jared serves as the creative director for XP3 Students, the junior high and senior high curriculum published by Orange. He also serves as the voice and personality of many podcasts and webcasts at Orange. During the summer months, you can find Jared speaking at BigStuf Camps. He often travels to other locations around the country to communicate the hope of Jesus with a humorous and captivating approach that has reached thousands of teenagers and college students. Jared and his wife, Rosanna, live in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Jeanne Stevens serves as one of the lead pastors at Soul City Church in Chicago, Illinois. Before starting Soul City Church, Jeanne was blessed to work with Willow Creek Community Church for 11 years as well as North Point Community Church for four years. She is an engaging communicator and leader committed to helping people live and lead from their soul. Jeanne is the author of Soul School. Jeanne and her husband, Jarrett, have a 7-year-old son named Elijah William and a 4-year-old daughter named Genevieve Grace “Gigi”.
Jeff is currently the Executive Director at Connexus Community Church, a multi-campus church north of Toronto, and a strategic partner of North Point Ministries. He has been working with families and students for over a decade and is passionate about family and church coming together to reach this generation. Jeff invests his time in developing teams of leaders, discovering innovative and practical ways to partner with parents, and finding ways to inspire communities with timeless truths. Jeff and his wife Leslie have two young boys who love NFL football, soccer and bedtime stories.
Jeff is nationally known as an urban ministry innovator and leader. He serves as Pastor of Youth Development at Peace Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia, where he oversees all of the children, teen, and young adult ministries. Jeff has produced several resources designed to empower and equip youth leaders, parents, and students in urban environments. He is the author of “Urban Ministry from Start to Finish” and co-author of “Everybody’s Urban” as well as “99 Thoughts Every Guy Should Know”. Jennifer serves as the Transit Female Group Director at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. She has spent six years on the North Point Ministry Team. Before coming to North Point, she served as the Youth Pastor for First Colony Church in Houston, Texas, working with middle and high school students. Today, Jennifer helps create exciting and safe environments for middle school students to develop a faith of their own. She is passionate about building relationships with small group leaders. Jennifer married David in September of 2012 and is enjoying the life of a newlywed!
Jenny Zimmer is the Director of Family Life Ministries and Director of Discoveryland at Discovery Church in Simi Valley, California. For over ten years she has been doing ministry work. Working with young children is her passion, which is why she is also a part-time preschool teacher. Having two older children of her own, Paige and McKenzie, Jenny recognizes the significance of spending time with children. At the same time she knows the value of family which is why when she is not working you can find her with her husband Jim, daughters, and dogs enjoying the California atmosphere.

Jeremy Lee has been a youth worker for 20 years. He helps parents at www.parentzilla.com, youth ministers at www.parentministry.net, and middle school ministers at www.uthmin.net. Jeremy lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife and two sons.
Jeremy holds a B.A. in Communication from University of Minnesota as well as a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has a passion for connecting with and learning from student pastors, deliberatively researching, reading, and blogging about student ministry and family ministry, dabbling with online technology and experimenting in ministry lifestyle design and productivity in the church. Jeremy and his wife, Mikaela, live in Alpharetta, Georgia, where he serves as an Orange Specialist with the XP3 Student team.
Jessica has worked with 252 Basics at The reThink Group for three years. Her previous experience includes working in multiple parts of Children’s Ministry at one of the fastest growing churches in the Dallas area and being an “at home” mom to her young boys. Jessica studied public relations at Eastern Kentucky University and religious communications at Southwestern Seminary. She lives in the Atlanta area with her husband, Matt, and their sons, Patriot and Azlan, and volunteers with third graders each week at her church. She secretly daydreams about living on the beach, but the commute is just too long, so she settles for watching “House Hunters International” on HGTV.

Jim Wideman is considered to be an innovator, pioneer and one of the fathers of the modern children’s ministry movement. He has trained hundreds of thousands of children’s ministry and student ministry leaders from across the U.S. and around the world over the past 35 years. Jim currently oversees Next Generation & Family Ministries, which includes birth through college, at World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Jim and his wife, Julie, have two fabulous daughters, two handsome son-in-laws and the cutest grandson ever born!
John Shamblin is the Family Life and Outreach Minister at Grace Chapel Church of Christ in Cumming, Georgia. He is a passionate Christ follower, husband of 26 years and father of two college students. He has a burning desire to make a difference in peoples’ lives by showing them who Jesus is and how Jesus has transformed and blessed his own life. He loves children and teens and still considers himself one. He has been working with children and teens for 23 years and wakes up every morning excited about what God will do in and through others.

Jon Langford is an Atlanta native and Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts in Orlando, Florida. He was a minister and pastor in Atlanta for 20 years before moving his family to Orlando in 2011 to launch a church planting movement and create magic at Disney. Jon is married to Heather and has three beautiful princess daughters that think they live at the Magic Kingdom.
Jonathan Cliff is the Director of Family Ministries at Athens Church, a North Point strategic partner, in Athens, Georgia. At Athens Church, Jonathan leads a great team of leaders reaching preschoolers, children and students. He is a huge advocate for families and believes that the family can be God;s primary way of reaching the world that they live in.
Jonathan and his wife, Starr, have a full house with two sons, Ryan and Dylan, and one daughter, Lauryn. They have also served as foster parents for many kids over the years.
Joy has a B.A. in Psychology from U.C. Santa Barbara. Before joining reThink, Joy was a part of the children’s ministry staffs at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship and Irving Bible Church. She has served in children’s ministry in a wide variety of volunteer and staff roles since 2000 and has a passion for children’s worship. Joy currently serves as a 252 Basics specialist for reThink partner churches and resides in Texas with her husband and two boys.
Justin was born and raised in South Africa and has served the local church for more than 15 years, including serving as the lead pastor of one of North Point Ministries’ international partner churches. In 2008 he and his family moved to the United States and joined the staff at North Point. He is currently the Director of Middle School at Buckhead Church and loves all the opportunities he has been given to communicate God’s truth and relevance to adults and students alike. Justin Wise helps churches accomplish goals with their online communication efforts. He previously served as the Executive Director for the Center for Church Communication. Justin speaks on the topic of digital communication at national conferences like Echo, NRB Exposition, CLA Ministry Internet & Technology Summit, and the Nonprofit Leadership Academy. He lives in Des Moines, Iowa, and enjoys spending time with his family.
Karen is the Director of Children’s Ministry at Faith Chapel Christian Center (FCCC). She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education from Alabama A&M University. Karen taught 11 years and served on her school’s Leadership Team and the Alabama State Department Accreditation Committee. She trained and mentored staff and student teachers and was named Teacher of the Year before becoming Children’s Ministry Director. Karen’s passion is growing children in God’s word and developing leaders to facilitate their growth in exciting, relevant, and practical ways. Her greatest joy is being the wife of Minister Tyrone Malone, and mother of their children, Joi and Joshua.
Kathy has had the pleasure of leading the First Look team since 2008 and is honored to work with such an amazing team to produce our preschool curriculum. Prior to joining The reThink Group, Kathy earned a Masters in Early Childhood Education and taught in the public school system as well as preschool at her church. She has volunteered with preschoolers on Sunday mornings for over a decade. She is the blessed wife of David and loving mommy of Maggie.
Katie Garvert is the Access Ministries Coordinator for Woodmen Valley Chapel in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Woodmen Valley Chapel currently serves 70 individuals affected by special needs, ranging in age from 2 to 65, many with autism spectrum disorder. Katie has helped Woodmen Valley Chapel establish special needs inclusion programming and respite events for this multi-site church. She is also responsible for overseeing the church’s deaf ministry and getting the hard of hearing access to God’s word. Prior to joining the Woodmen Valley Team six years ago, Katie was a special education teacher in the public school system.
Kendra Fleming is the multi-campus Children’s Director for North Point Ministries in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this position she oversees the ministries on each campus for Waumba Land (babies-pre-k), UpStreet (K-5th grade), and KidStuf which serves over 5,000 children each Sunday. It is her passion to create irresistible environments for kids that connect them to their Heavenly Father. In addition, Kendra works with the multi-campus strategy of North Point Community Church by serving as part of the NPM leadership team. She lives in Cumming, Georgia, with her husband Gary and their four children, Jessica, Catherine, Jack and Emily.
Kenny Conley, a 15-year veteran of Children’s Ministry, currently serves as the NextGen pastor at Gateway Church in Austin, Texas. His passion to see the next generation come to know and follow Christ propels him to constantly rethink how the church approaches ministry to kids and their families. Kenny loves to network and collaborate with ministry leaders around the world to push ministry to new levels. He lives in Texas with is wife Sara and children, Titus and Genevieve.
Kevin Ragsdale serves on the Leadership Team for North Point Ministries and is the Multi-Campus High School Director of their five metro Atlanta campuses. Kevin was one of the first Family Ministry employees at North Point and developed the student ministry philosophy built around a small-group model. In addition to leading a staff on five campuses that is responsible for over 1,500 high school students in small groups every week, Kevin is currently leading his fourth small-group of guys (he’s already graduated three). Kevin and his wife, Gina, live in Cumming, Georgia, with their three children.
Kristen holds a degree in secondary education as well as a master of divinity. After teaching high school for two years, she joined the Orange team in 2006. Currently she works as the executive director of messaging by day. In the evening she lives out the full orange spectrum as the wife of XP3 Students Orange Specialist, Matt Ivy, and the mother of two First Look aged children: Sawyer and Hensley.

Leslie is in her ninth year as the Director of Children and Youth Ministries at Central UMC in Richmond, Indiana. After graduating from Indiana University, Leslie worked in advertising in Chicago and taught middle, high school, and adult education. But she thinks that her time working at Disney World in college best prepared her for this job. For the last three years, she has been partnering in student ministry with Rev. Brian Derrer from First English Lutheran Church. Together they have led their student ministry to begin a values-based program in their local high school as well as their community.

He also oversees the student ministries at YS including the PlanetWisdom student conferences. Michael Bayne is a follower of Christ, husband, dad, and pastor passionate about reaching the next generation for Christ. Michael serves as the Family and Student Pastor at Grace Community Church in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Mike Clear is the Director of Weekend Services & Family Ministries at Real Life Church in Valencia, California. Mike is also an Orange Coach and regularly provides leadership training at The Orange Conference as well as Camp KidJam. Nina Schmidgall serves as Director of Family Ministry at National Community Church in Washington DC. Nina originally moved from California to the nation’s capital to work for the United States Congress, serving as a Legislative Director in the House of Representatives. Writing and directing education and family policy, Nina realized her deep passion for strengthening the family and the home. Rafael (Ralph) Castillo
Rafael Castillo is a Teaching Pastor at Christ Tabernacle in Queens, New York. He is also the co-founder of Youth Explosion Ministries, now Misfit NYC, a thriving youth ministry in New York City. Rafael serves on the chaplain team for the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Nets. He is a graduate of New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study and lives in New York City with his wife, Elisa, and their two children.
Stacy Hodge is the Church Relations Manager for the Dallas/Ft. Worth office of Joni and Friends. Using her experience beginning and growing the Special Needs Ministry at Hunters Glen Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, she is now working to reach out and equip churches to welcome individuals touched by special needs and their families. Stacy is a proud graduate of Baylor University where she received her degree in Deaf Education. Terrace Crawford is a popular speaker, writer and coach. He has been a mentor to students and youth workers for more than 17 years and connects with people everyday via social media. Terry Scalzitti is Associate Pastor for Adult and Family Ministries at First Baptist Fort Lauderdale, a fast-growing downtown multi-cultural church with more than 70 nations represented. Terry and his team have spent the last six years transitioning the church to the Orange Strategy. A focus of that initiative emphasizes leveraging Orange principles for parents who are not yet connected to the local church. During the summer, Terry provides leadership training at Camp KidJam. Tom is the North Point Ministries Multi-Campus Director of Transit (Middle School). Tom’s passion involves working with campus directors and their teams, as well as recruiting and developing the hundreds of volunteer small group leaders it takes to pull off Transit at the five churches of North Point Ministries. He is the co-founder of Uthmin.net, a place for middle school ministers to gather. Tom also co-wrote Lead Small with Reggie Joiner, a resource for children and student small group leaders. Wendi is the Children’s Ministry Associate for Special Needs at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall, Texas, where her team serves 250 individuals with unique needs. Lake Pointe recently began offering a class for adults ages 18-30 who have high functioning Asperger Syndrome. Wendi’s own daughter, Taylor, has Asperger Syndrome and is currently working on her master’s degree in special education. Wendi lives in Rowlett, Texas, with her husband of 29 years. They are the proud parents of Taylor and Austin who is in his first year of medical school.

Chrystina Lloree Fincher
As a preacher’s kid, Chrystina Lloree Fincher’s faith became her greatest influence. This more than anything carved her path, as she discovered environments that God opened up to meld her faith and musical passion. She currently leads worship full time at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia, BigStuf Camps, Catalyst Conference and a variety of other events throughout the year. She has been a songwriter and producer for The reThink Group and Amber Sky Records for 12 years. But the role she relishes the most is being a wife to Jayce and mom to their three children, Holden, Cashman and Ava.
Ryan Stuart is originally from Detroit, Michigan, and now considers the Atlanta area home. As a worship leader and vocalist, Ryan currently serves North Point Ministries, its campuses and partner churches. In addition to leading people in worship on a weekly basis and contributing to music projects in the southeast, Ryan’s vocal work can be heard on various shows for television and radio, including Glee (FOX Broadcasting) and The American Bible Challenge (Game Show Network) hosted by Jeff Foxworthy. He is married to Jenny, his high school sweetheart, and dad to Oliver, 4, and Oscar, 2.
Seth discovered his natural talent for singing at an early age and was encouraged to continue to hone his unique musical abilities. In 2002, he recorded his first independent album before starting college in Argentina where he became fluent in Spanish. With his newfound ability in a second language, Seth signed with CanZion group and wrote two more albums. Since that time, he has been traveling and leading worship in various countries. Seth is married to Jessica and has two sons, Titus and Jonas. He is currently leading worship for North Point Community Church.

Steve Fee is a gifted worship leader and songwriter that resides in Alpharetta, Georgia. Steve started playing music at 17 while living in Central Florida. While attending college in Tennessee, he started leading worship for the student ministry at North Point Community Church. From there, he has led worship in many different environments from his home church to college gatherings all across the country. Over the last few years, he has written some of the most well-known worship songs including All Because of Jesus and We Shine. While Steve loves music, there’s nothing he loves more than spending time with his two boys, Levi and Price.
Tann loves to laugh! And she is generally always laughing, cracking jokes and simply enjoying life. She is part of the worship team at Trinity Chapel Church and North Point Community Church – both in Atlanta, Georgia. Tann has a wide range of musical interests – from dance to country tunes. And you can hear her voice in various projects for Aaliyah, Aretha Franklin, Ce Ce Winans, Wynonna Judd, and Babbie Mason. Tann and her husband reside in Atlanta.
Unhindered is made up of Ben Smith, Pat Barrett, J.R. Collins, Christian Paschell, and Ashley Dasher. These five guys met between their high school days and their years at the University of Georgia where the band was solidified. They are signed with EE-Taow Records, and play over 150 dates each year including Acquire the Fire, Xtreme Conferences, Student Life camps, and Battle Cry gatherings. While their song styles range far and wide, there is one constant: both musically and lyrically, Unhindered exists to encourage honest, unhindered worship to a holy God.
