Fellowship Bible Church is looking for a Family Pastor for our multisite campus in Cabot, Arkansas. The primary focus of the position is to lead the children’s ministry as a means of helping families grow as followers of Christ. This person will also work closely with the campus pastor in the leadership, shepherding and growth of the campus’ people and ministries. Strong relational, leadership and pastoral skills are necessary, as well as an obvious passion for kids. Key responsibilities include: • Oversee children’s ministry through weekend classes that are strategic and fun (birth-sixth grade). • Recruit and empower large teams of volunteers. • Engage families with 4-5 large-scale annual events. • Develop a core leadership team to assist you and to champion family ministry. • Design an ongoing connection tool to partner with parents and help them expand their spiritual influence on their families. This position requires a relevant college degree as well as 3+ years experience in leading a children/family ministry. Seminary or ministry training is a plus. Must be willing to live in the Cabot community, which is a quickly growing, family-oriented community thirty minutes from Little Rock.
